Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
We were able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas with family. Still hanging in there waiting for the important call from Pittsburgh. Even though we are anxious to recieve the call, we were glad to be able to spend the holidays with family. We will see what the new year brings for us.

Some days it makes you wonder if you are even on the transplant list yet, but then you recieve the call saying that the score has increased, so you know that's not the case. Sixteen months. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Our challange now is to keep Leah healthy over these next couple of months to make sure when we get the call, she's ready to go. That means flu shots all around. Trying to be patient.

I can see that it's been awhile since anything has been posted:) Leah continues to do well. It's been 11 months since she has been listed for a liver transplant. We are anxiously waiting. Hopefully soon. She will be 2 in a couple of months. Thank you to all who continue to have us in your prayers.

Patiently waiting for a call from Pittsburgh. We've only been listed for 4 months, but it seems so much longer then that. I guess it's because it is constantly on your mind.

People keep asking me what it's like to be on the waiting list for a new liver for Leah. It's really hard to explain. You keep going on with life because you can't stop and sit around hoping for a phone call, but the thought is constantly in the back of your mind. We know that God has the perfect timing for us (I wish we had some insight as to when that may be). We continue to wait patiently on his timing.

"I wait patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry."
